Welcome to the wonderful world of A G Johnson Photography. I am a local photographer in the South Sound.

A little about me. I started photography in grade school with a loner 35 mm camera. Processing and printing the film in a simple small darkroom in the basement of our school. I was always so thrilled to see my images come up through the paper. I would go on to graduate from the commercial photography program at Seattle Central Community College.
After graduation, I spent over 15 years as a portrait photographer. However, in the world of the portrait photography, volume and productivity almost always takes precedence over image quality or customer satisfaction. In 2004 I returned to school and completed the Green River Occupational Therapy Assistant program. After spending a number of years pursuing a career in the rehabilitation therapy field, I have decided it is time to return to photography again and begin sharing the images I have created as well the techniques used to capture moments in time.
In conclusion, it is my hope to share with you the world as I see it. From tiny flowers, soaring birds, fascinating cityscapes and everyday objects. I am fascinated by the world around me and enjoy capturing things, everything as I see it.
This page will also give me a chance to interact with you and I am very excited about that. If you have a question… about anything you see here? Please ask! I am more than happy to share. Location, camera settings, gear and techniques you name it! Let’s all get out there and create the images that make us happy!
If you have any questions please contact me.
