Westport Beach day trip. Located about 117 Miles Southeast of Tacoma Washington, Westport makes for an enjoyable photography road trip.
A short jaunt from the big city
Located at the mouth of Grays Harbor, Westport is a perfect place to play, relax, and enjoy local restaurants. However, for me, it is all about the beach! With miles of shoreline to wander, I find this small beach town the perfect place to start thinking about sunnier days ahead,

To get the best view of surfers enjoying the waves, start your day at Westhaven State Park. From the park, it is easy to find the Westport Jetty. Jutting out in to the Pacific, the long rock structure is between Half Moon Bay to the north, and Westport Lighthouse State Park to the south.
